A Successful Nation

What is success for a nation??

I strongly believe that a successful nation is she whose educational system is able to identify the unique talent in every child of her, even before the child graduates from high school.

Mother Earth is blessed with children of diverse talent and that too in equal numbers! But, only those lucky souls whose purpose of birth is identified early in their life shine and bring laurels to the human race. So, if we - as responsible members of the human race - strive to identify the spark in every child at least by the time they graduate from high school, I'd say that's a tremendous achievement! This would ensure all of us chase our passion and success will be omnipresent, thus making this world a happier place to live in.

May the year 2014 march one step towards this dream!

May this world (nation of nations!) become successful one day!

Wish you and your family a very happy and prosperous 2014!!

  1. A nice debut innings indeed, Narayanan! Of course we will progress if every child has the talents identified before graduating from high school, but that brings out another important question: how do we ensure that "every" child, irrespective of factors such as the financial status of the family, does attend and not drop out of high school? Let this issue be addressed in your next blog!
